Nitric Oxide (Part 2)


Following on from the previous blog let's examine 5 other benefits of using Nitric Oxide for your training.

1. A Speedy Recovery

One of the key benefits of nitric oxide is that it helps blood flow to the tissues in your body that helps your muscles relax. As a result nutrients and oxygen are able to get into your muscle tissue at a faster rate helping you to recover. As your recovery rate is improved you will be able to perform at a higher level in the subsequent training sessions.

2. More Energy During Your Workout

Part of the reason why people start to feel fatigued during a training session is that your body requires ATP to perform bodily functions. ATP needs oxygen as part of this energy production process for events over 10 seconds. If no or limited oxygen is in supply there is a build up of lactic acid. This build up gives you a feeling of pain and fatigue. Nitric oxide provides you with more oxygen going to your muscle tissue. Therefore Nitric giving you more energy to train as well as reducing the levels of fatigue.

3. Endurance Boost

As a result of the above nitric oxide also helps with improved cardiovascular endurance.

4. Balancing Your Core Temperature

Nitric oxide helps your body cool down by helping your blood flow to balance your core temperature, which will give your body the energy it needs to finish a successful workout. When you have good blood flow, the temperature in your body won’t overheat, which will give you more energy to keep going to complete the workout you want.

5. Better Muscle Pumps

Nitric Oxide also helps with blood flow to the working muscles. As a result of the improved blood flow you will obtain a better pump in the muscles. This pump will also last longer which will help with your levels of self-confidence post training session.
